  • 05/09/2014 - Questions relating to the Seizure and Detention of Certain Documents and Data (Timor-Leste v. Australia) - The Court decides to grant the Parties' request to postpone the oral proceedings due to open on 17 September 2014.
      
  • 28/08/2014 - Somalia institutes proceedings against Kenya with regard to a dispute concerning maritime delimitation in the Indian Ocean.”
      
  • 11/08/2014 - United Nations Security Council pays visit to the International Court of Justice.
      
  • 07/08/2014 - The Argentine Republic seeks to institute proceedings against the United States of America before the International Court of Justice. It requests US to accept the Court's jurisdiction.
      
  • 16/07/2014 - Obligation to Negotiate Access to the Pacific Ocean (Bolivia v. Chile) - Fixing of the time-limit for the filing of a written statement by Bolivia on the preliminary objection to the jurisdiction of the Court raised by Chile.

The Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the European Union

The Council under Greek Presidency and the European Parliament reached a tentative agreement on the main outstanding issues concerning the proposal for a regulation on the European maritime and fisheries fund (EMFF) replacing the existing European fisheries fund (8883/13), during the informal trilogue meeting which took place in Brussels on 28 January 2014.

In the Permanent Representatives Committee (COREPER II) Member States confirmed on 5 February 2014 the political agreement reached by the Greek EU Council Presidency in negotiations with the European Parliament on a Proposal for a Regulation amending Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters.
